Paul Behlke

Paul Behlke, former Watertown druggist, died at his home, 92l
Mr. Behlke was born in Watertown on
He
served his apprenticeship in the Gamm drugstore here
and after working in several other cities returned to Watertown and purchased
the Gamm building where he operated a widely known
drug business for many years.
After
disposing of his business, he did relief work for druggists in various cities of
the state. He always made Watertown his home and was widely known in this
community.
Surviving
are a sister, Miss Minnie Behlke, with whom he made
his home, and two brothers, Edward W. Behlke, St.
Paul, Minn. and Gustav Behlke, this city, who is a
half-brother. There are several nieces and nephews. A brother, Frank, preceded
him in death.
Mr. Behlke was a member of Wesley Methodist Church, Watertown
Lodge No. 666, BPO Elks, Lincoln Lodge No. 20, Knights of Pythias
and the Masonic fraternity.
The Nowack Funeral Home served the family.
