Mr. Mantz
was born
He was a graduate of Johnson Creek
High School and was confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Johnson
Creek. He attended Lawrence College.
Mr. Mantz
was a member of the Aztalan Town Board for many years
and was highly thought of and respected throughout that area and was a trusted
and well liked friend of those who knew him.
Ladish Plant Employee
For over 15 years he had been
employed at the plant of the Ladish Malt Company at
Jefferson Junction.
He married Leola Burmaster
in 1936.
Surviving are his wife, his mother,
Mrs. Nora M. Mantz of Johnson Creek; a son, William
R. Mantz at home, and a cousin, Mrs. Clifford Weiss
of Jefferson. His father and a son
preceded him in death.
Mr. Mantz
was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Farmington.
The Rev. Franklin Dobratz will
officiate at the service here tomorrow. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
