Henry Moser

Henry Moser, 81, a resident of this city all his life, died at his home at 307 North Eighth Street last night shortly before midnight. Death was due to a heart attack which was brought about by the extreme heat.

He was born in Watertown on March 27, 1855. In 1817 he married Eliza Hoenigemann, who preceded him in death 14 years ago.

For many years Mr. Moser was engaged as a cigar maker here, first with Wiggenhorn Bros., and later with Sonnemann’s until this firm discontinued business. Later he was employed at a shoe worker in the Beal and Pratt factory here and after that at the Wolfram factory until it discontinued business.

Surviving are one daughter, Elsie, at home one son, Henry E. Milwaukee; one brother William at Pardeeville, two sisters, Mrs. Abel of Elkhorn and Mrs. Millie O’Hern of Mt. Carol, Ill.

He was a member of the local Masonic lodge.

Is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
