Georgia P. Reynolds

1920 - 2006

Georgia P. Reynolds, 85, of Watertown, died August 14, 2006, at, Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Watertown with the Rev. Stephen Savides officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown. Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Octagon House in Watertown.

The former Georgia Richards was born Nov. 16, 1920, in Watertown, the daughter of George and Inez (Keel) Richards. She married Donald Reynolds June 4, 1949, in Watertown.

Georgia graduated from Watertown High School in 1937 and attended the former Northwestern College in Watertown. She also graduated from Prospect Hall in Milwaukee.

She had been employed as a secretary at Watertown High School and at MATC in Watertown.

Georgia was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Watertown. She was also a member of the Watertown Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Watertown Historical Society, P.A.L.S. and the Saturday Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bridge.

Georgia was the great-granddaughter of John Richards, who built the octagon House in Watertown.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Reynolds of Watertown; a son, Terry (Marie) Reynolds of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Kathryn Reynolds of Cincinnati, Ohio; other relatives and friends.

She was an only child, being preceded in death by her parents.
