Erna Strache

Erna (Mrs. Wilbert) Strache, 63, 710 Western Ave., Watertown, died Saturday, 21 August, at the Watertown Memorial Hospital of cancer.

Mrs. Strache, the former Erna Kroll, was born in the town of Concord 31 January 1913, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kroll. She married Wilbert Strache, 4 February 1940, at St Stephen's Lutheran Church, Concord.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Carol, Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Martin (Viola) Genz, R3, Watertown; Mrs. Edgar (Loretta) Hartmann, Oconomowoc; two brothers, William of Oconomowoc and Carl Stuart, Florida.

Funeral services were held 24 August at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Watertown, of which she was a member with the Rev Myron R Kell officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
