Mrs. Fred Sydow of 900 Fourth street, met with a very serious accident shortly after 8:00 o'clock last evening while walking along Main street, between Second and Third streets. Shortly after leaving the Palace theatre, Mrs. Sydow slipped and fell on the sidewalk in such a manner as to fracture her hip. Dr. R. B. Hoermann was summoned to the scene and the unfortunate lady was made as comfortable as possible after being removed to her home. The injury is of a rather serious nature owing to the advanced age of Mrs. Sydow, who is sixty-three years (or is it 61?) of age.
